There's a lot of complexity & compliance issues to shipping alcohol.

My job at Lot18 was to optimize the UX to create a seamless, intuitive flow to allow the user to become absorbed in the indulgence of each story uninterrupted. Buying wine (for some) is as much an emotional experience as it is a transaction so we built tools to enrich the story of each wine to paint the fullest picture shy of being at the winery.

This new, robust product page was designed for expanded content to enrich the users understanding and experience of the wine by providing sommelier reviews, ratings, taste comparisons, food recommendations, vintage history and winery details.

Tasting Radar

Tasting Radar

We developed a system for identifying and scoring wine attributes to help customers compare wines to their own tasting preference. The Taste Radar gives an easy-to-read visual of how close each vintage comes to your ideal flavor profile.
